What’s the billing period?
Our billing period is calculated in 24-hour increments. For example, if you pick up a rental at 10:00 AM, it should be returned by 10:00 AM on the due date to avoid additional charges.
Do I have to pay for insurance?
Yes, Third Party Insurance (TPI) is mandatory, even if your credit card provides rental car coverage. Collision coverage is optional, but we recommend it for added protection.
What do I do if there’s an accident?
If an accident occurs, immediately dial 119 to reach emergency services (ambulance or police). Additionally, please inform us as soon as possible by calling +1-876 339-9388 or +1-876 282-3304.
We provide roadside assistance within the Montego Bay coastal region, covering areas between Lucea and Falmouth. In some cases, we may be able to deliver a replacement vehicle to your location.
What about taxes?
Jamaica’s General Consumption Tax (GCT) is 15%, and this will be reflected on your booking summary. There are no hidden fees.
Are your vehicles tinted?
Some of our rental vehicles have tinted windows, while others do not. If you have a preference, please indicate it in the “Notes” section when booking.
Are your rental cars new or used?
Most of our vehicles are three years old or newer. We regularly update our fleet to ensure a comfortable and safe driving experience.
Pickup & Drop-Off Services
Can you pick me up at Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA)?
At this time, we offer NMIA pickups only to regular customers.
Do you offer pickup/drop-off in Negril or Ocho Rios?
Our free VIP pickup service covers the Montego Bay coastal region, which includes:
Falmouth (30 km east of Sangster International Airport - MBJ)
Lucea (40 km west of MBJ)

Rental Terms & Fuel Policy
Do I have to pay for gas?
All rental cars come with a full tank of gas, and we ask that you return the vehicle with the same fuel level. If the tank is lower upon return, a refueling charge and service fee will apply.
Will I get a refund if I return the car before the due date?
Epic Car Rental does not issue refunds for unused rental days. However, at our discretion, we may offer rental credit for the value of the unused days. This credit:
Expires in 365 days
Cannot be transferred to another driver
Can I request a manual transmission vehicle?
All of our rental cars have automatic transmissions. If you need a vehicle with higher performance, we recommend choosing an SUV.
